Also located on the Coal Harbour side of Canada Place, Tap&amp;Barrel is not as vast as the De Dutch downstairs, only a little snowy mountains in North Wen can be seen in some locations. Brunch is available at noon on weekends, and all Brunch before 12:00 are special for 10 knives. There is also a Kid&#39;&#39;s Brunch for children: bacon&amp;egg. Bacon is very fragrant, and eggs are lackluster.

The most famous of this restaurant is the duck breast set. This duck breast is very good. I thought it was a Wellington steak. The chocolate muffin after the meal was delicious and the seafood tasted acceptable.

The food is fantastic! Our favorites are: Italian frozen meat platter (salmon steak is fantastic!), lamb skewers (no mint sauce), tomato salad, cheese-free Italian pancakes, chickpea salad, grilled tuna, roasted carrots. I don&rsquo;t recommend ordering pizza as other dishes are more unique. The restaurant looks more refined and perfect if you change the napkins to simple white napkins and make sure there are no holes in the napkins. Other than that, it&rsquo;s a great place to have a romantic dinner.

This was a great, easy-going place to have dinner. We walked in and were able to be seated. The food was good and the server friendly. Lots of tvs with hockey playing. It&apos;s a loud, lively place but would be happy to come back again if I were in the area.

Beautiful spot by the water at Granville Island to bring visiting family or friends. Dinner menu had something for everyone, service was excellent, and the steak frites and other items our group ordered were all terrifically made. Love the creative low-alcohol drinks, as well.

Simply satisfying food, a comfortable ambiance and a great spot for visitors to Vancouver.

Came for happy hour while visiting Vancouver and were very impressed. Half price wine bottles (Tuesday) and the happy hour menu were great. Tried the deep fried pickles, chicken wings, dumplings and flatbread. All were great but the in-house flatbread with hummus and harissa was exceptional. Great service and vibe. Highly recommend.

It was late afternoon but not time for supper yet. My brother and I were waiting for our reserved time to move into the Fan Expo Vancouver as Artist Exhibitors when we realized we needed something light to eat. Tap and Barrel is part of the west side of the Convention Centre and we were able to be seated at the Bar fairly quickly.  It&apos;s a nice place. A great selection of craft and international beers, and we shared a couple of appetizers as well. The appetizer size was not meal sized and we appreciated an opportunity to just taste some samples of food without overeating. Chips and Guacamole, Waffle Fries, Dumplings and beer. It was exactly what we needed to tide us over. And the bartenders provided great, friendly service. I&apos;m coming back again for more.

Great pub on the west side of the Convention Centre

Being from Southern California we enjoy Tap and Barrel when we are in Vancouver, especially the fried pickles and pizza. The help is always friendly with the exception of the outside reception which is not always staffed in is inclined to seat walk-ups who decide to skip the official line and just walk up to the podium. But all over, the experience is worth it.  Having given enough praise, we dined there on September 29 and when we got our statement a month later noticed we had been charged for the visit twice- for the exact same amount. Not being able to get a hold of management at the hotel I challenged the billing on my Citi VISA card. The merchant is given weeks to respond and today, November 18, I received an email from Citi denying my request for one credit. The information provided from Tap and Barrel included one page of transaction detail (showing one order number for our meal) and then two billings, each for exactly $78.72, same date and exactly one minute apart. I do not know how they figure this validates their claim that we ate twice that night within minutes of each other but considering that management was not available to take my call and the funky way they have people line up if they have reservations, I have to think that perhaps they need a different management style. So my unsolcited advice to the reader is to watch your billings carefully. Will we eat there again? Well, there are a lot of other restaurants in Vancouver and we have not tried most of them. Will we ever get our $78.73 back? Who knows.
